The number of points you can spend to corrupt a particular attribute depends on the level of the attribute. These in turn can be used to further improve your attributes, distorting them and giving you more power at the cost of your life and stamina. You do this by sacrificing a living person on a sacrificial stone to obtain Soul Essence. Soul Essence is needed to improve your attributes. A maximum attribute value of up to 20 points will give you a total of 4 perks, 2 of which are milestones that you can select at level 10 and level 20.
